Monday already!?
I wanted to share this note that Laine wrote to her brother... spelling mistakes and all (cause it is just too cute)!
"Dear Harley. I love you to the moon and back. You are my faveret'st brother in the hole entier world becasue you are just to cute!"
Awwwwe! My favourite part is "faveret'st" ...gotta love it! Yeah, it isn't right... and no I didn't correct her, because to me it is perfect. We work on spelling and school work enough, so I cherish these little notes that are 100% her... to me, the spelling is the best part! Love my munchkin!
Harley is walking more and more... I still can't get over it. My baby is growing up too fast! :-(
Piper and Newt are becoming friends. Not just 'I will tolerate you' ...but actually playing!
This is them this morning. I love that they are getting along so well, but man oh man are they loud when they play! Newt is a 'talker' ...he makes funny noises when he plays. Not barking, but kinda like Chewbacca from Star Wars! ...and Piper has a rather loud puppy bark happening! Loud loud loud! But oh so funny!
She is gonna be big and strooooong! She has already grown so much! Newt better take advantage of being the big dog while he can! lol
We grabbed some groceries on Friday and Laine and I decided to get some tulips. Growing in the dirt kind... not already cut. Anyway, she was going for all of the plants with the full blooms, the more the better she thought. So, I finally convinced her that if we found one that has lots of 'almost' blooms, that we will have pretty flowers at home for longer. She did not agree with me, but finally went along with it.
She will be so happy to see that it started to bloom this morning...
I love buying tulips this time of year... it reminds me that even though we are still surrounded by snow, that spring is coming! Even though it is still winter outside, we have a pretty little reminder right beside the kitchen sink, that spring really is around the corner.
I haven't been getting down here to the computer very often (easier to keep Piper upstairs on the laminate... and closer to the door to get her outside), so I am once again (story of my life) behind on emails... sorry. I am happy to report that yesterday we did make it through the entire day without a mess in the house! I know she is far from being house trained... but that is progress! I just can't wait for the day that she lets me know she is ready to go out! Maybe next year. HA!
Speaking of mess in the house... my 30 minutes are up, time to take the pup outside again. ha ha!
