Not too much to say today. We are still working on the deck.. between thunder storms and snow (yes.. we woke up to snow this morning... and that soooo isn't right). Since weather has been all over the place, we get stuff done when we can. Other than that.. just normal 'life' stuff keeping us busy. May 12th and SNOW!? Ack! It has sort of thrown me for a loop today!
Let's start this 'random hard to follow blog post' with this little fart. In the midst of one of the busy deck building days.. we took a break and did some 'in the house' stuff... I put cartoons on in our room to keep Harley's attention focused and went about getting things done. Well, after a bit, I went to take a peek at him. This is what I found...
Got himself into the blankets and snuggled in. I was *this* close to crawling in with him and calling it a day. :)
With so many days outside, and so much rain (and snow ha ha!).. well, that means a LOT of laundry. Like a LOT. I swear at least 1 load a day.. maybe 2. It is crazy. I don't know where it all comes from, but it is seriously driving me insane. What really drives me nuts, is when you think you are kind of caught up.. then when you do go to do a load.. and go to transfer the clothes from the washer to the (what is supposed to be empty) dryer.. and you find this...
Oh yes.. that drives me nuts.
Or... when you send your daughter in to her room to gather her laundry, and she comes out with a mountain..
Uh huh. I think this is a cruel preview to the teenage years.
Ohhhhh.. wanna see our grass? I don't know if I have blogged about this already or not? If not.. we seeded our grass last fall... then, in the spring when the snow melts.. the moisture is supposed to grow this 'super grass' ha ha! Well, I don't know if it is 'super grass' or not.. but it sure is growing! The great part is, we haven't even watered yet.. the soil is so wet from the snow still (last winter's snow.. although, I suppose today's snow would work for this description as well! ha ha!), that it is growing all on it's own! Wonderful!
Yay for grass!! It has been a few years since we have had a lawn. So, yippee for grass!! hee heee! So excited about this.. makes me giggle just thinking about it! :)
I *love* technology.. like I mean LOVE it. Especially when it can keep your kids quiet while in the car. I am not too sure what tops that. I tried to get them both in the shot.. but, my lens isn't wide enough... so, you will have to picture an equally serene and quiet Harley on the other side of the car. hee heee!
Some car lovin'. As in Harley's cars. They are everywhere. Like at the kitchen table (or getting launched across the kitchen table) while eating lunch...
Or, on the back of the couch. Which makes a very good road by the way...

How about a bit of moss? What is a blog post without a bit of moss? ha!
I took a little walk, out behind the house the other night... not too sure what I was going to find. Couldn't go far, since I was in hubby's slippers.. and it became very apparent that there was a hole in the sole as I was walking on the wet ground! ha ha! So, I took a picture of the moss and went home. hee! I think I need to add a macro lens to my never ending wish list.. yep, I think that might be fun! :)
Some lessons in teeth brushing...
I gave her a mirror, for close up inspection. Now she can't argue when I tell her that she missed a spot! ;) And yes.. the cat has a thing for running tap water... no matter how fresh the water in her bowl is.
Oh.. and in case you are reading this from somewhere that is ridiculously warm, and you are thinking that there is no way in the world that there could be snow on May 12th.. here is some proof.
