Meet the newest addition to the owl family that resides in the Johner household! heeee!
I made this owl canvas for the 2 Peas patterned paper theme! At first, I was just going to make a little framed paper pieced image.. then I spotted the blank canvas in the corner of the room... remembered I had a big bottle of Mod Podge.. and one thing led to another! ha!
A 'weee' bit crazy.. and kind of over the top ha ha! ..fun though! hee! I hung it above the toilet in our half bathroom/laundry room. Some colour for our otherwise plain room!
I used this digital kit from 2 Peas, printed out the owl on 12x12 cardstock as a template, and cut it down as I went, for the different patterned paper elements/layers. Super easy actually! Of course it wasn't quite complete without a few buttons! ha!
We got home late yesterday from our 2 week road trip.. kids are in their own little worlds, rediscovering their toys again.. the Hannah Montana movie is on repeat, playing for the second or third time! ha ha! I officially have 'Hoedown Throwdown' stuck in my head. lol Playing 'catch up' on things.. gooood day! Good to be home! Later! :)

Yeah! Thank you for letting me post.
