Hi all! Quick post on this super fine chilly (and foggy) Sunday! Is it weird that I love this chilly weather (I know I will bit my tongue in a month or so when the snow is flying! lol) ..but I love love love the excuse to curl up on the couch with a good book or a movie.. and that is just what I think I am going to do today! I don't think it will be much of a challenge to get the kids on board.. after all, they love these sorts of days too! ..they come by it honestly. :)
Oh and.. I lied to you. I was not reading 'The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest' ..I was reading 'The Girl Who Played With Fire' ..BUT, since I finished up that one last night, 'The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest' would be the perfect book to curl up on the couch with today. If only I had it. I could test out the Kobo app on the iPad and give the digital copy a try I suppose though huh?
hmmmmm...
Just had had had to post this here though, I am sure it has made it's way around blog land already (it is so cool.. it must have), but I just spotted it now while browsing through one of my favourite little online shops (out of stock there though)..
Seriously cool right? It is like FB in real journal form. Can you imagine how much fun this would to look back on.. for the kids to look back on when they are all grown up? Because really, sometimes all it takes is one line to capture a moment. And what a great starting point for journaling on scrapbook pages.. all you would have to do is look up the date of the photo and go from there!
AND.. it is turquoise. How cute would that look sitting around the house, or tucked in my bag. hee heee! FYI (hubby).. huge Christmas hint hint right here! hee heee! Anyhoo.. back to my lazy day Sunday (oh who am I kidding.. will probably decide to take some sort of project on instead!) ..have a good one everyone! xo

5 YEARS?!! Really?? .. that's pretty cool!! Clicked on it and saw one called "the Quotable Kid", looked neat too.. but I guess you could throw kids quotes in this one too! FUN!

I remember a good friend of mine having that Line a Day Journal several years ago & I thought it was the best.thing.ever, but have never seen one to purchase & somehow I neglected to Google it! Thank you for sharing this, I would definitely like to purchase one. I love the simplicity of it & the daily aspect. How fun to chat some nights over dinner with the fam on what our "tagline" for the day should be!

I didn't realize they still made those journals. Check out these from the 60s I found at an estate sale a while ago: http://lifeincolor.typepad.com/life_in_color/2010/04/snippets-vs-stories.html

That memory book is awesome, thanks for sharing! I added it to my amazon cart in hopes that my husband would notice :)
