new blog! ..think I am done anyway! ;)

YAY!

OK.. yes, there are probably a million other things I should have been doing yesterday and today instead of this, but what can I say?  I needed to switch things up!  

I simplified things big time.. put in more text links instead of graphics, went from three columns to just the two... added the navigation bar at the top (and categories, which I still have to painstakingly go back and categorize all my posts.. ugh), made it so I can have BIGGER pictures! YAY!  This part has me really excited!  Also, played around and finally figured out how to add a bit to my background.. can you see the feathers?

Let me know if it is wonky anywhere.  I made everything bigger.. so I am worried how it might look on smaller monitors, looks fine on my desktop and my laptop even.. but you never know right?  I hope it looks ok for everyone.. I am definitely no expert coder.. going back in and editing might take me a few days to gather up some courage first! ha ha!

OK.. gotta run, grocery day!  Dogs are out of food too.. and quite honestly, I am really needing to get out of the house! lol  Be back later with some pics of the playroom (which is finished!!)!  Later friends.

Oh.. and this new edition of 'the little things' is sooooo totally 'me' ..and that make me very happy!! Feeling refreshed already! :)

I had so so so much fun making it!  With the help of a template I found online of course ;) ...(because all that coding was way over my head! lol).. Cheryl sent over a collection of images (fabrics and that suuuuuuper cute owl that she made!).. and I got to play!

Most of the sections in the image above will link you to different places, the FB page itself, twitter, the Cartwheels blog and the flickr group where you can share your art!

If you are already a FB fan, you will have to click on the 'Welcome!' tab at the top to see it.. but if you are new to the page, this should be what welcomes you! ..and hopefully draws you in! hee! ;)

Anyhoo!  Just wanted to share!  Even though I didn't do the coding for the layout.. still kinda proud of it, ya know? :)
